This is always the case when it comes to relationships, especially to the one ex trying to end the relationship or desperately wanting to get back at what once was. I can’t stress this enough on how you are an ex for a reason, and the past is where you should belong. Simply continuing this act will just lead you into making a fool of yourself and more disappointment. I have no other way to kindly suggest this but to leave what once was and move the fuck on.
